Another N Scale Train project I completed during my winter break was the Nickel Plate Road 765. This was one of the factors that delayed my Santa Fe Super Chief N Scale project. The reason I wanted to get a model of the Nickel Plate Road 765 because I actually chased it when it was in Chicago when it ran The Varsity from North Glenview, IL to Janesville, WS. I even got a chance to see it prior to the day of the excursion when it showed up at Franklin Park Railroad Days. Pretty cool to have a model of a train that I once chased.
